This book, published in 2016, was printed by Edition One Books in Berkeley in an edition of 100. Its creation was supported by a successful Kickstarter campaign. All copies are numbered and signed by the artist and include an 8x8" pigment print of an image from the book. There remain about 15 copies.
A Field Guide to Plants is the culmination of a ten year effort exploring and creating photographs illustrating human life in direct communion with plants in all their forms, evoking the possibility of inter-species friendship. The 94 photographs are combined with an essay by the artist. The book is a generous 12"x12", 125 pages, softcover, and constructed with the highest quality printing and paper available.
